If and when required, we ensure we have the correct certification and authorisation from organisations including, but not limited to the Auckland Council, Watercare, and Veolia.
In all that we do in civil works we insist on doing the task once, right, and safely. To meet or exceed customer needs we deploy competent staff, vehicles machinery, equipment and support resources. The application of industry standards, codes of practice and current methodologies holds high relevance at Civil Underground
We are fortunate to have available an NZQA qualified Health and Safety Advisor who promotes the highest standards on our worksites. We are the first to realise that Health and Safety is of the most substantial importance and breaches can cause serious implications on business and brand reputation. Within the business we have a plethora of policies and procedures, supported by manuals including Asbestos management, incident investigation, and a series of safe operating procedures (SOPs). All of Civil Underground staff are aware of these documents and are encouraged to make submissions at any time.
Our staff training and competency records are subject to ongoing management and where applicable new and refresher courses are implemented. Continual improvement is a core aspect of our business.
